Billet aluminum brackets are nicely polished and have ball milled grooves. Brackets are for use on small block Chevy engines with 69’ & later model heads with bolt holes in the ends and short water pump. Alternator bracket mounts the alternator on the driver side in existing bolt holes. It may be necessary that one bolt hole be drilled and tapped into the passenger side head for installation of A/C bracket. Brackets come with all necessary installation hardware and instructions. (See Adjuster bar Applications for adjuster requirements.) NOT FOR VORTEC HEADS
 

Alt. and Compressor
If using both the alternator and A/C compressor you will need both the short bar (3999) and the long bar (4000). The long bar installs from the upper water pump bolt on the driver side to the compressor. The short bar will run from the compressor over to the alternator.

Compressor Only
If you are only using the A/C compressor bracket (5508) you will only need the use of the long bar (4000). The long bar installs between the upper water pump bolt on the driver side over to the compressor.
