Available in three different brackets. Select carefully as water pump dimensions make a difference
(1) “Early Wide Belt”
’37 – ’48 Ford/Merc Car and ’37 – ’47 Truck with 5/8” wide belt. Bracket mounts Sanden AC compressor and GM standard case alternator off of the original generator mounting flange. May be used with some “regular” dual intakes, four barrel and stock intakes. (will NOT fit triple carb) A ¾” wide single groove clutch assembly for the AC compressor and a wide groove alternator pulley will be required for the 5/8” wide belt. Can retain stock fan assembly. Water pump dimension required is 1-7/16” from mounting surface to center of pulley.
(2)“Late Wide Belt”
’49 Ford/Merc Car and ’48 – ‘53 Truck with 5/8” wide belt. Bracket mounts Sanden AC compressor and GM standard case alternator off of the original generator mounting flange. May be used with some “regular” dual intakes, four barrel and stock intakes. (will NOT fit triple carb) A ¾” wide single groove clutch assembly for the AC comprssor and a wide groove alternator pulley will be required for the 5/8” wide belt. Will also require off-set waternecks to provide radiator hose clearance. Can retain stock fan assembly
Water pump dimension required is 3-1/4” from mounting surface to center of pulley.
(3) “Late Narrow Belt”
’50 – ’53 Ford/Merc Car with 3/8” wide belt. Bracket mounts Sanden AC compressor and GM stadard case alternator off of the original generator mounting flange. May be used with some “regular” dual intakes, four barrel and stock intakes. (may NOT fit triple carb) Will also require off-set waternecks to provide radiator hose clearance. Can retain stock fan assembly Water pump dimension required is 3-1/8” from mounting surface to center of pulley.
